Kitodo completely maps digitisation projects in libraries, archives and museums – from planning to catalogue data import, scanning operation, metadata supplementation, OCR recognition to the presentation of digital collections and the associated controlling and reporting.

Kitodo is a web-based open source software, platform-independent, modular, developed in cooperation with the universities SUB Göttingen and SLUB Dresden under the GPL open source licence and aligned with the DFG’s rules of practice.
The Zeutschel ZED Server extends the functional range of Kitodo.
