GOOBI ZED

By using GOOBI libraries and archives can model, control and monitor the very specialised and complex production processes of their mass digitisation projects. GOOBI was developped under the responsibility of the universities SUB Göttingen and SLUB Dresden under the GPL Open Source Licence. It is platform independant, modular applicable and aligned to the German DFG standards.

Ensuring consistently high quality during the demanding mass digitization of library and archival collections thus far has been very labor-intensive and time-consuming and, consequently, expensive and error-prone. Furthermore, there still is no practice that would ensure the comparable application of national and international standards. With its OS QM Tool, Zeutschel now offers software that makes it possible to analyze almost all relevant quality characteristics through the analysis of a single scan and to evaluate these on the basis of selectable standards – and all that in only a few seconds.

HERMES DIGITAL is a server-based software application for the administration, processing and distribution of scan orders and for the distribution of scanned documents.
