Partner Meeting 2024: Zeutschel celebrates international success and passion for cultural assets
This year the annual Zeutschel Partner Meeting took place on July 8 and 9, 2024.
45 participants from 24 countries came together to experience two days full of inspiring events and cultural highlights at the company’s site in Tübingen-Hirschau. The Partner Meeting offered a mixture of professional exchange and cultural events.
Market leader Zeutschel and DATAWIN GmbH cooperate
Various impressive announcements were made during the Partner Meeting, such as the future cooperation between Zeutschel GmbH and DATAWIN GmbH. Managing Director Christian Hohendorf presented the joint agreement in the presence of the DATAWIN GmbH management. Both companies will offer a premium solution for the digitization of archives and cultural assets. The aim is a hybrid scanning system consisting of a rotary scanner and an overhead scanner that can be controlled and operated via a common software interface. Further information can be read in our press release.
First insights into new products and ideas
Zeutschel used the Partner Meeting 2024 to provide initial insights into new products and product ideas. The innovations and concepts presented included both scanners and software solutions for digitization projects in libraries, archives and museums.
“The innovations presented underline our commitment to always being at the forefront of technological development and meeting the needs of our customers,” says Managing Director Christian Hohendorf.
For the first time, two Zeutschel partners took the opportunity to present themselves and their company in order to further strengthen the connection and cooperation within the partner network: the Swedish Partner Documaster Sweden AB, Stockholm and the Polisch Partner, DigitalCenter, Suchy Las. This opportunity will always be offered to two partners in future.
Historical scenery and cultural insights
A special highlight of the Partner Meeting was the visit to Hohenzollern Castle. The partners were given an exclusive tour of the impressive castle and got comprehensive information about the long history of the Hohenzollern dynasty. The tour not only offered historical insights, but also magnificent views over the Swabian Alb.
Grand finale at Hohenzollern Castle
The grand finale of the first day was a stylish champagne reception in the castle courtyard. In glorious weather, the guests were able to enjoy the special atmosphere of the castle and chat in a relaxed atmosphere. The subsequent dinner in the castle restaurant provided the perfect setting for words of welcome, award ceremonies and intensive discussions.
In this wonderful ambience, our colleagueThomas Foo, responsible for the Asian market, was bid farewell to his well-deserved retirement after more than 25 successful years. The laudatory speech was given by his long-time friend and former owner Jörg Vogler – an emotional, moving moment for all participants.
The current owners Markus Wagner and Christian Hohendorf presented Mr. Foo with an approximately 400-year-old copperplate engraving of the city of Tübingen by Matthäus Merian (*1593 – †1650) as a token of thanks and recognition for his achievements and as a memento of the partnership.
Premiere of the “Dealer of the Year” award
Another highlight of the Partner Meeting was the presentation of the “Dealer of the Year” award for the first time. As of this year, this award recognizes special achievements by sales partners. Konstantinos Sarimveis from AMS Ltd. in Athens received the award for his exceptional success in implementing one of the largest scanner projects of recent years. A total of over 200 Zeutschel scanners are being used to digitize archive materials and land registers in Greece – an impressive project that sets new standards.
Strengthening international partnerships
The Partner Meeting 2024 once again demonstrated the importance of strong international partnerships for Zeutschel’s success. The participants took the opportunity to discuss current developments and future projects.
“The Zeutschel partner meeting has reinforced Zeutschel’s position at the very front of the high end digitization industry. The many innovative developments coming soon are incredible”, says Paul Negus, CEO of Genus IT from the UK.
Pawel Skrzypczak, CTO Digital-Center Sp. Poland adds: “The Zeutschel Partner Meeting was incredibly successful, with enthusiastic participation, innovative ideas, a clever vision for future growth and of course amazing family-like atmosphere.”
And Kung Shyang Loon, Managing Director Galaxy Automation Malaysia comments: “Because of COVID I missed the Partner Meeting and this is my first meeting with the new management. I could felt the new spirit, experience the innovations for the future and enjoy the good atmosphere in the Zeutschel team. The long journey to the partner meeting is always worth it.”

“Many thanks to the entire Zeutschel team for the organization and to all participating partners for their visit and input. – It was a very successful event.
