Zeutschel supports TSV Hirschau
100th anniversary with “Zeutschel Cup” soccer tournament and long-term sponsorship of the ‘Spitzberglauf’
The world market leader for overhead scanners, Zeutschel GmbH, supports TSV Hirschau. “We congratulate the club on its 100th anniversary. Of course, this has to be celebrated properly. We are making our contribution to this,” explains Christian Hohendorf, one of the two managing directors of Zeutschel. For example, the company is a sponsor of the “Zeutschel Cup”. The regionally attractive soccer tournament will take place as part of the anniversary sports week from July 11 to 16. In addition, Zeutschel announces long-term support for the Hirschauer Spitzberglauf.
“Zeutschel is a globally successful Hirschau-based company. Our commitment to TSV Hirschau is an expression of our regional ties. Cooperation between companies and local clubs is beneficial for both sides. It strengthens the local community and at the same time has a positive impact on the awareness of our company,” explains Christian Hohendorf.
And Stephan Fauser, 1st Chairman of TSV Hirschau adds:
“Zeutschel’s sponsorship is also of great importance to TSV Hirschau. It enables the club to enhance its anniversary with a program highlight. Partnerships like this between companies and sports clubs help promote sport and thus health and cohesion in the region.”
Soccer tournament as a spectator magnet
The soccer tournament is the central framework for the sports week on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the club.
At the “Zeutschel Cup”, nine teams from the region will play in three groups during the week from Tuesday, July 11 to Thursday, July 13, starting at 6:00 pm. The respective group winners and the best runner-up will then play the semifinals on Sunday, as well as the match for third place and the final. The winner will receive the “Zeutschel Cup” trophy.
Spitzberglauf in focus
Zeutschel also becomes a sponsor of the annual Hirschauer Spitzberglauf. With its picturesque panoramic routes past vineyard slopes around the Wurmlinger Chapel, the sports competition is considered one of the most beautiful countryside runs in Baden-Wurttemberg.
“Zeutschel’s commitment is long-term”, Markus Wagner, the second managing director of Zeutschel GmbH emphasizes: “We strive for credible and sustainable partnerships that demonstrate identification with the region.”
