Zeutschel OS C1 replaces OS 12000 A1

Zeutschel announces the end of sales of the OS 12000 A1 overhead scanner. Successor will be the OS C1. The A1 model replaces the previous Professional Scanner for large formats with immediate effect.

For 10 years, the OS 12000 A1 was a popular digitizing tool for scan service providers, libraries and archives that was convincing in terms of quality and stability.

True to its own claim “Good is not good enough for us”, Zeutschel has further developed the Professional Scanner series. The customer promise remains the same: High image quality and reliable results paired with efficient work processes and easy operation. And all this at a very good price/performance ratio.

With the OS C, these product features have been further improved in key areas.

For example, the scanning head has been re-designed with a new scan drive so that it runs more precisely and smoothly. The book cradles are even more finely adjustable. And the LED illumination has been optimized. The result is continuously sharp images of the originals that can meet Metamorfoze Light and ISO 19264 Level B image quality guidelines and standards at 300 ppi resolution.

The OS C has inherited the robust double-column design from the high-end OS Q and OS HQ series. The new overhead scanner deliberately dispenses with plastic and uses only metal as a construction material. This ensures very high device stability and a long service life.
